UK Online Gambling
As reported by the (London) Financial Times: " The Caribbean island state of Antigua and Barbuda is looking at "strategic alliances" with UK companies to boost its online gambling industry, as it combats a clampdown from US authorities who consider internet betting to be illegal.
"New gambling laws in the UK were passed recently to regulate the booming internet gaming industry. Although the laws have yet to be implemented, Antigua is keen to benefit from any path the UK could clear through murky legal and trade controversies that threaten the industry.
Online casino buys part of grassy knoll fence
An online casino has purchased a section of fencing from the scene of former President John F. Kennedy's assassination for nearly $33,000.

The auction, offered by Lelands.com, closed Friday.
Strategies for summer hotel savings
Staying in great, comfortable lodgings while on a summer vacation doesn't necessarily mean that you have to spend a lot of money.
There are plenty of options, but you may have to compromise on travel dates and on how far from the action you want to be. For example, it may be a good idea to avoid such holidays as July 4th, when hotels in popular destinations hike up rates. Also, don't disregard such alternatives as apartment- or house-swapping. Of course, if you live in rural Ohio, you may be hard pressed to have someone switch with you.
UK Online Casino
The online casino business seems to be on a roll, but not all online casinos are successful when it comes to the value of their shares.
Recently, one British online casino disappointed investors when the company´s shares took a dive on the stock exchange during its second day of trading.
While most online casinos seem to be operating a profitable business, this UK internet poker site in particular wasn´t showing a whole lot of promise on the stock market.
Indian Casinos
Despite the strong opposition of Ohio's top politicians and the potential for a legal fight, some investors are willing to take a flier on at least two of four Indian-run casinos proposed for the state.
The Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma wants to build the casinos. The tribe, which has started the process of filing a land claim for 145 square miles, is cutting casino-hosting deals with four towns - Monroe, Botkins, Lordstown and Lorain. It hopes to make Ohio the 29th state with Indian-chartered casinos.
UK Online Casinos
With Britain’s new online gambling laws, the government hoped that online casinos would choose to be located in the UK. The laws offered online casino and poker room operators licensing for meeting the consumer protection standards.
The UK hoped that UK sportsbooks that had moved to low tax countries such as Alderney and Gibraltar would see the new law as an opportunity to return their companies to the UK, but it looks like the hopes were premature.
Online Gambling
Britons have always been fond of a flutter – whether it be on sporting events such as the Grand National and FA Cup Final, or the outcome of the general election.
But it seems the internet age is pushing our love for gambling to a whole new level.
Every day more Brits are logging on to websites offering the opportunity to try your luck, and their eagerness to take a chance has made online gambling one of the fastest-growing industries in the world.
Batman Begins
The "Batman" film series, launched by Tim Burton in 1989, burned itself out after four pictures because of an overreliance on production design, increasingly campy costumes and mind-numbing action and noise.
That any filmmaker could now revive the comic book character and his retro-futuristic world of Gotham City is a minor miracle.
But for Christopher Nolan to turn "Batman Begins" into such a smart, gritty, brooding, visceral experience is astonishing.
´Crazy Frog´ ring tone leaps to top UK singles chart
