Movie star George Clooney has promised to give a quarter of the profits from his glitzy Las Vegas casino The Ramblas to charity.

"Ocean's Eleven" star George Clooney is teaming with Cindy Crawford's husband, Rande Gerber, and possibly Brad Pitt to build a $3 billion hotel-casino-condo resort called Las Ramblas they hope will restore some of the Old Vegas glamour of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack.

The gavel is slated to come down on the auction today at 3 p.m. Its owner, a private Denver businessman who assembled the collection over decades, anticipates a heated bidding war in the auction's closing moments.

Mariah Carey won $27,000 at a poker game in Las Vegas last Friday. Carey, 35, invited at producer Jermaine Dupri's birthday party at the opening of the Tao restaurant from Venetian Hotel, visited a nearby casino to play some poker.

The Diva, who won $27,000 after just three rounds of the game, confessed she's not a poker player, so the winning was not on account of her skills.

"I used to play poker with my sister. But I think my low-cut dress put some of the guys off."

Three arrested over casino fraud

Three people accused of using hidden cameras and ear-pieces to cheat in poker, have been arrested on suspicion of trying to defraud a casino.

Police said it was believed to be the first time suspects had been arrested in the UK for using equipment to cheat.

It was believed the three had been in at least six London casinos where they are alleged to have illegally netted more than £250,000.

A woman described as a typical "soccer mom" surrendered to the FBI in Las Vegas today to face charges she stole $3.1 million from a Las Vegas casino in 1993.Heather Catherine Tallchief worked as a maid at an Amsterdam hotel and raised her son while on the run.She was on the FBI's most wanted list, along with co-defendant Robert Solis, 60, a convicted bank robber and murderer, who remains at large.
