The "Sportsman", a betting newspaper will be launched in the UK this March. Il will include a wide range of betting possibilities, like Poker, Football and Golf. Il will be thw first UK paper to be launched for over 20 years.

Mark Maydon - former Head of Development at the rival "The Sun" - will be its digital directo. Max Aitken, its managing director declared to be really pleased with Aitken´s incorporation to the "Sportsman".

"He will bring a wealth of commercial, management and editorial experience in both digital and newsprint media. The Sportsman will be the first ever Newspaper to simultaneously plan a launch in both traditional print and online format. We're looking at broadcast sponsorship opportunities as well,” he said.
